Complete garbage! good for home audio

So many good reviews I must have gotten a broken one but it's mostly useless. The radio sound works fine, so it's not the speaker. The grinding noise of the player is clearly audible, the sound is completely distorted and slow. I have an anti-slip mat made of cork and rubber on the underside and it works without a defective turntable.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Modern Retro Sound

I've wanted a turntable for a long time and this treasure truck deal was hard to beat. Bought vinyl from Goodwill (99 cents) and this video is my first song when first played on this unit. The quality is excellent and it can handle Mozart well. Setup was easy. Looks pretty stylish and works 4 times as Bluetooth speaker, FM radio and extra speaker! Brilliant!

Must have retro player!

If you've been thinking about getting a retro turntable, I recommend Victrola. This is the Cambridge model with Bluetooth, FM radio, turntable and connection for additional external speakers. It was a Christmas present from Mike. I like the look and the great sound. Radio and Bluetooth have excellent stereo sound compared to a recording which may be mono.

The 'new' item arrived used and broken - unusable.

Really disappointed. My mailbox looked great - when I opened it the Victrola box looked used, previously opened and the Amazon box had extra room for the item to bounce around in the box. that was my first concern. then, in the Victrola box, the styrofoam broke and that was the second red flag that something was wrong. Set up the platter, it looked great live and felt solid enough, but the console was wobbly. I wasn't sure. and there was a fat screw sticking out at least an inch. Tried to set a

Looks great sounds great after buying a new stylus

I was so excited to buy this turntable having previously bought the Victrola version with a smaller body. I haven't been able to use this for the first month since moving, but after unboxing it and adding new vinyl I noticed songs were skipping randomly. I was very angry. I put on another brand new vinyl to see if he missed it too and he did. To continue my test and to confirm that this was my new turntable, I took both vinyls and played them on my old Victrola turntable and they didn't miss aโ€ฆ

Okay but Bluetooth is misleading and not what you think

Okay I really like this turntable it's so darn cute and fun. However, the "Bluetooth" part is very confusing. Find out why I couldn't connect it to my Bluetooth speakers or headphones. It works quite the opposite. The player is actually a plug-in speaker. Example: You connect your phone to the player via Bluetooth to play music. it's on your phone. When I bought it, I expected to connect multiple speakers via Bluetooth so I could mute my recordings very loudly. I think the only way to do thisโ€ฆ

Looks good - doesn't play

I'll get rid of that in a moment. I'm not a beginner, I'm just discovering vinyl. I'm in my 60's and have and still play records (vinyl) on an old Technics SL1300 turntable. This is the second Victrola "suitcase" turntable that I have bought in the last 6 months for my 16 year old daughter's introduction to vinyl. It is also the second who will not play without gaps. This happens with both old and brand new records that play perfectly on my 40 year old turntable. I tried the old trick ofโ€ฆ
