Review on Leatt Protector Black Large X Large by Aaron Clayton

A year+ of weekly low speed riding and falls and I swear this armor has saved my ribs from cracking at least 3 times. It is designed for very heavy loads and is ideal for riding very rocky, steep and uneven trails. But that armor is ridiculously hot - the thick lycra clothing doesn't vent at all. In the summer, the armor is the only thing you wear, and yet you have to keep it open to let in some air. That's certainly good for fast desert driving, but not very good for slow single lane driving. I wish Leatt would improve ventilation by offering a version with mesh clothing.
