Seems to work fine with my PS1 and PS2 games. You can also change the aspect ratio!

I tried some games and they worked over HDMI. I can't speak for other devices but my PS1 and PS2 games worked. There's a switch for 16:9 and 4:3, so thankfully there's no ugly stretching.
