I tried some games and they worked over HDMI. I can't speak for other devices but my PS1 and PS2 games worked. There's a switch for 16:9 and 4:3, so thankfully there's no ugly stretching.

Even with a few complaints it's still a pretty nice product. Firstly, when I pair my N64 with a very new TV, the picture shows a strange stripe on the far right of the screen. Second, there is a slight lag that is noticeable in some games, such as: B. Mario Golf, where you have to press a button exactly.

Bought to use with an RCA switch to use with my classic games consoles. The picture was clearer than the native composite connection on my Samsung TV. I will test on different consoles and update my review accordingly. I would still recommend custom made HDMI cables for consoles like the Dreamcast or Saturn, but that will work in a pinch.
