It's exactly what the name says: Diamond Clear or they should rename it Crystal Clear. Yes that's right, the back of the shell is crystal clear like a diamond and very hard, but it's also like a mirror where you can see the reflection if you look at it from the side, it looks very bright and I like it because it's so clean and clear. Also, the hard back doesn't look like it will yellow as easily as the clear soft shell I've used the Torras brand in before and I think time will tell in this case too. In addition to all of the above, I noticed that the back of the case is slightly raised at four corners, allowing the case to lie flat on the table without scratching the case.
