It draws only 62W at full brightness when using the power supply, which is a universal (120-240VAC) switching DC power supply deals with 12 VDC / 3A. When the lightbar is off it only consumes 1W in standby mode. A good part about this power supply is that it has an indicator light (see attached photo) when connected to an AC power source. The indicator light is useful because the lightbar itself has no power indicator when it's off. There are 270 white LEDs and 270 LEDs on the panel. Color brightness is adjusted independently for white LEDs using the up and down buttons and for yellow LEDs using the left and right buttons. The complexity of dimming control is that it is not a continuous analog type of control. it changes brightness every time a key is pressed. To get full brightness from minimum brightness you need to press 8 times, vice versa. The light changes in 8 discrete steps. If only LEDs of the same color are used, it will NOT reach 0% brightness as stated by the seller on Revain. The lowest brightness is around 13%. Another press of the down button turns off that color's LEDs BUT the other color's LED lights up. Maybe the seller meant 0%. The remote works well when turning the lightbar on and off or adjusting the brightness. The control buttons on the back of the device require a little patience. To turn on the device, you need to press the central power button until all 3 red "battery” indicators light up in sequence (see attached photo). To turn off the device you need to press the Power button until the light turns off. If you press the power button briefly while the device is on, it will flash. The flashing frequency depends on how many times the on/off button has been pressed. Maybe this is an optional feature for party purposes or special video effects, but it's confusing. The 1/4" threaded fixture mount works as expected. However, adjusting the mounting angle is not very user friendly. This requires you to carry a large enough screwdriver (see attached photo). The diffuser cover that came with the lightbar worked fine but reduced the light output by more than 50% Except for a small flaw, as mentioned above, does its job satisfactorily.
