This is normal. When I put one of them on it didn't close completely so I had to lift one of the corners. Dust particles fell down at this angle, which no amount of the included dust sticker could remove to seal properly. The only thing I could do was remove the entire tread and then try to remove as many dust particles as possible. It looks even worse now than it did when I only had the plastic screen protector and to top it off I can't tape one corner at all. As if that corner had lost all its stickiness. Finally, I'm not happy I bought it! Update: They support their warranty and sent me replacement screens.
