Review on Reccazr SP2040 RED Computer Speakers: USB Wired 2.0 CH Surround Sound PC Speakers with Deep Bass for Desktops, Laptops, and Smartphones by Andy Hearshman

Review by a Experienced AV Engineer: So I was quite surprised to see just how small these speakers really are. They are the typical size of a computer speaker and don't take up much space. The aesthetic design matches my current computer setup, so subjectively it looks pretty cool. One of the issues I had with the sizing was the actual length and quality of the cables. They listed the cable length as 1.3 meters (4.27 feet), but didn't say they included the cable length for each speaker and volume control button. I was then limited to about 2-3 feet left of the cable to the USB/audio jack, not enough to get to where my computer is, but enough to be where my monitor plug-ins are. Sounds reasonable, these things can pack a punch. They are actually quite powerful for medium to small spaces. They're loud, but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Low frequencies are weakest, especially since they sold subwoofers, but I may have expected too much from them, thinking they were powerful enough to shake the room. The mids are where most of the meat is, and the highs are right where they should be. In general, the balance of these speakers is okay. They certainly beat what you can get at this price point ($20 at the time of writing) but won't fully satisfy audio enthusiasts who want more balance and control. Regardless of how I might sound in this review, these things are really great and I love them so much.
