I bought this almost exactly 11 months ago. Used regularly but not every day. The antenna on the window mount was installed and not removed. The radio at the other end has been taken off and on regularly, but always treated well (never screwed in/out, just holding cable). On a hot day I unscrewed it from the radio and the whole faucet fell apart. I don't know if it was wear and tear over time or if the fitting was never crimped properly and the heat loosened it just enough to be pulled out. In any case, it shouldn't be. They are not expensive. but ordering another one is cumbersome because you have to bring it from China. The Revain list even says you have to wait 20-50 days for it. Given the popularity of Chinese radios and Nagoya antennas on Revain, this doesn't make sense to me. This part needs to be stored somewhere in the US.
