Review on USDA Organic Vegan Protein Powder by Shay Badger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Mixtures VERY GOOD for making lazy protein shakes!

I have tried 3-4 different brands of organic vegan protein blends in the last 3-4 months. I started trying them after starting on whey protein blends that gave me stomach cramps. Vegan protein blends were the answer to my prayer because they don't upset my digestion, are nutritious, and support my newfound passion for weightlifting. When I started lifting weights as a newbie to protein shakes, I was a lazy shake maker. Instead of using a dedicated blender jar or blender, I just use soy milk and a spoon. I travel a lot and have a container at home and in a drawer at work. Sometimes I add peanut butter powder which improves the flavor and protein content. I wish I had found this brand sooner. Sure, it's a bit more expensive than others, but you really get what you pay for. When I made my very first organic muscle shake, I added 2 scoops to the soy milk and after just a few minutes of constant stirring, it was completely mixed at the bottom of the glass (below the surface of the glass, almost no lumps). silk where the powder tends to set). I was so happy I smiled at my protein shake in confusion trying to figure out where the big chunks were because I just KNEW there should still be big chunks (like all other mixes). It blended like an absolute charm! These people have a new regular customer. I had vanilla flavored and added organic PB powder for the win. (Add PB powder after mixing the protein powder to keep the PB powder from sticking to the OM powder.) I can't wait to try chocolate next time.
