Bought this to use with our Tupperware mandolin. Children love to use the mandolin to cut fruit and vegetables. The thing that comes with the mandolin to hold things while cutting doesn't hold things at all. These gloves are amazing. I tested this by using our sharpest knife and running it harder and harder down my arm and then down my fingers. No cracks, no cuts, just a nick where the knife blade had a little nick. My kids have to use this every time they use a sharp knife or mandolin. I use it too.
