Review on BLACK DECKER Lithium Floor Sweeper by Reginald Ward

I work as a janitor at an elementary school and bought this for times when the floors were a little dirty so I didn't have to carry a 20lb vacuum up and down the stairs to classes. The floors are half tile, half carpet. It doesn't pick up wet crumbs on tile floors at all, but does a good job on commercial carpet. I think it cleans better than a vacuum cleaner. Every once in a while I come across a clipped piece of paper that bounces off the brushes, but overall this has saved me from having to lug around a lot of places. I bought a model with a hundred minute battery life and use it for about a long time before it starts to slow down. I have to brush it daily to get hair off the brushes, but it only takes a minute and isn't too much of a chore. (I use a pocket knife but it comes with a brush cleaner) I am happy with my purchase and would buy again if needed. I'm taking off a star because it doesn't work well on tiles. And for the feature where you rate "suction power" I gave it one star because it's not a vacuum. He sweeps the floor and if they asked for it I would give five stars as he deserves it with the carpet.
