I was happy with the controllers when I first got them. They look cute and work quite well. They were a little wobbly at times, but given that they cost $35, I thought that was fine. When my Switch is docked and I want to play on the TV, I have to turn on the Switch first before I take out the controllers and try to play on the TV. You cannot auto-enable the switch with these controllers. Usually when something went wrong I could reboot my Switch and everything was fine. Now I have a crash killing the controller. Although it appears to be centered, the right thumb is constantly "down". I've restarted the switch several times and when I try to recalibrate the controller I can't get past the first stage because the switch doesn't even detect movement. I'll try to take it apart to see if I can fix it myself, if there's dirt or anything, but I'm very disappointed. I might as well spend money on official JoyCons that will last for years.
