The first one I got didn't hold the heat. Second made
Does not retain heat. I put some solder on it and it drops from 300 to 200 or less which causes the solder to stick to the tip. From now on I will buy the brand name. Update: Turns out I had a bad review. UY Chan contacted me and sent me a new one with no fuss. The new one worked much better and didn't fall over like the first one. It still didn't get hot enough to melt the solder on the Raspberry Pi 3, but that could be due to the type of solder used rather than the tip. The lug size is small enough for 26 AWG wire, but probably not small enough for surface mount. for those interested in size.
