I like that it's very easy to use, you can create as many VMs or instances of software packages as needed in one go from any location around the world with no lag time at all. It also has full root access so everything is possible (but if you're not comfortable doing basic computer stuff this isn't for you). There are some things about rack corp which I have found difficult to do such as moving images/files between multiple VM's but support staff were more than helpful. We've been able to easily set up a number of server environments quickly using their service without having to spend hours setting them up ourselves. The price point compared to other sites was amazing too! If we weren't working remotely or were required to work long hours then there would be little benefit in us running our own hardware because we could just get another cloud hosting.
