At first I was skeptical because of the low price, but after a short installation time I was pleasantly surprised. A true parametric setting that requires a bit of a learning curve to set it up properly. This is NOT a graphic equalizer disguised as steam! No system sounds were added, and no filtering or complicated setup was required. The subwoofer and bass are clean and deep, the highs are clean, but I wish there was a little more freedom at the top end. slide them all for a flash look. It doesn't have the build quality of the Kenwood graphic equalizer it replaced, but it doesn't regret it. Two things I found a bit disturbing: 1 - The handles are not aligned vertically. In their middle position, they are all slightly shifted to the right (12:01 instead of 12:00). When extended, the handles are offset from the center of the bezel and slightly curved. None of this constitutes a breach of the Terms of Service unless required to be obligated. For $40 and a significant improvement in clarity and control, I can live with those minor imperfections. Highly recommended.
