Planet Sound is new to me but timeless in innovation and audio engineering. Each knob is tuned to a precise frequency. You want to adjust with a screwdriver, then push the handle and buttons in or drown. OMG 1-10 ITS A 2500

This is the fourth purchase of this little gem. This time I'm using it in my 2013 Hyndai Veloster. Replacing Quantum QEQ6, I'm not sure Quantum will do the job but I know Planet will. My music is a little lifeless with the Quantum, hopefully the tried and true Planet PEQ15 with its variable parametric versatility will help add more dynamic to the installation. However, a factory radio can always be a bit dark. People tend to berate Planet, but they always stand up for me.

I have quite a lot of experience with equalizers in professional sound systems. I wanted something I could use to "tune" the frequency response of my car radio. I love how I can adjust the center frequency for each knob. It gives me the full control I wanted and now I'm very happy with the sound in my car. Generally good. I knew I had to connect it to understand it. A catch can be noticed by others. You cannot use the Bass EQ boost if you are using the Sub-X-Over output at the same time. My amp already has that, but if you boost 20Hz at 18dB and use a subwoofer on the rear outputs instead, it sends those powerful low signals to the mids and highs. I bought peq15 for my clients, this is a copy of soundstream mpx4. People should be aware that this parametric witch means you can move within the allotted range, for example: Band 4 = 4k-20kHz, you can boost or cut any frequency from 4001Hz to 19999Hz. At first I was skeptical because of the low price, but after a short installation time I was pleasantly surprised. A true parametric setting that requires a bit of a learning curve to set it up properly. This is NOT a graphic equalizer disguised as steam!
