Creative way of giving money, deep separation

I bought 2 of these gifts for my niece and nephew as first communion gifts. I was looking for a good way to give them money, they are children after all and I want them at least to be happy with the gift. The material is pretty decent, the colors are nice and the money compartment goes all the way to the bottom of the cube, wide enough to hold rolled up bills but not a gift card. How difficult a maze can be, let's put it in perspective. For kids and teens I would say they solve it in minutes, no more than half an hour (at least from what I've seen with my family members). , especially for me (in my 40s) it took about an hour, in the end I had to "cheat" by solving the maze with the help of a marker (I would say that ingenuity is not cheating ;-) ), and then pass the ball through the marked line to open the box. When testing it was then rubbed with alcohol, the cube was not damaged. That doesn't mean you have to spend time solving the maze just to put money on it for a gift. They are initially set up to have a small ball near the latch so you can easily open the cube. However, note that once you close it, you have to go through the maze to open it again. It was fun, made good conversations and the kids can later use it as a little piggy bank.
