Review on Electric Water Transfer Pump - 1.6 HP Stainless Steel Shallow Well Garden Lawn Sprinkling Pump for Irrigation and Booster by Justin Spoja

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Was close to returning but love it! Great pump!

When I bought this pump the reviews were top to bottom, I know physics and I understand technology, I needed a good pump with good pressure. I've read the manual, tried using garden hoses on both ends, read in full that min 25mm but just needed confirmation that this pump works. Filled the filler hole and tried and tried but found it wouldn't stay in the filler cup. Decided to do as I was told, installed a 1" well pipe with the "L" down 18". The elevation from the creek is 6.5 feet within elevation parameters. All connections taped with Teflon tape in case I think the other guy was right, crap. Nowadays, there are still a few items thrown out of the factory to make money! The plastic fittings are in two bags, I can only use them with two 1 inch barbed fittings. One on a universal connector and with hoses doesn't like to rotate due to the arcuate bend. It goes into a tributary and with cold stream water because my well, like many this year, has sunk so low that you can't fill it. On the other end I have a check valve strainer. Filled with water every 20ft 1 inch and nothing *#'!. I rummaged through my stash for another bottom valve and, taking the leap of faith, pulled on the check valve and tried to suck it in, but could barely get it out. Carefully removed the end piece, was about to remove the spring and boom, I don't know where the part went and now I don't care because the pump works like a charm, the full pressure will do for a 30 meter jet needed by a garden gun. Very impressed, hope this helps you. Be careful not to slowly break the end of the pen because mine broke, but I love this pump!
