Review on Carib Sea ACS05820 Moonlight Aquarium by Jen Aus

This was the worst sand I could buy for my aquarium. 🐟 I used to buy torpedo sand of this brand and I really liked it! It was finer than aquarium gravel but still more like a natural sandy habitat for my fish. I don't know why I thought Moonlight Sand would compare, but I was very disappointed. This sand is more of a fine dust that makes the water cloudy and somewhat gritty. And this even after several days of waiting for reassurance and using a powerful filter with double polishing pads. I would love to take photos, but I was so focused on cleaning my tank that I didn't even think about it. I ended up having to move the fish and everything else to another tank to get that horrible sand out and thoroughly wash it out of my large tank. Never again 😒
