I used this thread for hand embroidery. Usually a metallic accent thread will snap, twist or wear out very quickly, but not in this case. It felt like working with an ordinary non-metallic thread. I liked that it is easy to use, no problems. I will eventually buy other colors, they were so great to work with. It's a bit thicker than any of the other metallic threads I've used, but I think that helped it be strong and allowed me to use it in my work with less effort. It has a beautiful golden sheen.
