Slightly less disruptive than 6 thread thread

Not much easier to work with than 6 thread thread but at least I don't have to split the threads so I don't have to deal with c wears a lot , because we all know how much metal thread wears out the longer you hold it. I'm going to use these instead of 6 strands because it's a little less annoying.

Looks good but I don't like working with it

Shiny and gold as promised but looks odd and chunky. The string itself is not entirely gold colored material. It looks like a yellowish thread interwoven with a very thin strip of gold foil. It is not very soft/smooth like regular yarn and breaks easily. I tried using it for hand embroidery and it worked, but it ended up looking clunky because the thread doesn't flow like embroidery floss.

Beautiful Thread

I bought this gold thread and its silver thread to also use with paracord to make beautiful wedding bands for me and my husband to wear in place of our "real" rings. We are both blown away by the beauty of the thread and the slight sheen we were hoping for. The thread is silky and hasn't snapped on me when I tightened the seam of the paracord. I've washed my hands a hundred times since putting the ring on and it still shines. I look forward to using it to make more of these rings.

Best metallic thread I've ever used

I used this thread for hand embroidery. Usually a metallic accent thread will snap, twist or wear out very quickly, but not in this case. It felt like working with an ordinary non-metallic thread. I liked that it is easy to use, no problems. I will eventually buy other colors, they were so great to work with. It's a bit thicker than any of the other metallic threads I've used, but I think that helped it be strong and allowed me to use it in my work with less effort. It has a beautiful goldenโ€ฆ

Superb Metallic Thread

I've read a lot of reviews of metallic thread complaining about the way it unravels and breaks but I thought this brand had better reviews than other brands. Luckily the feedback was correct - I've used this 32 gauge thread to create sparkly cross stitches, outline stitches and even French knots, I've cut short lengths of thread and threaded them straight into the needle with a needle threader. At first I acted cautiously, expecting that the thread would break or twist at any moment, but inโ€ฆ
