I've read a lot of reviews of metallic thread complaining about the way it unravels and breaks but I thought this brand had better reviews than other brands. Luckily the feedback was correct - I've used this 32 gauge thread to create sparkly cross stitches, outline stitches and even French knots, I've cut short lengths of thread and threaded them straight into the needle with a needle threader. At first I acted cautiously, expecting that the thread would break or twist at any moment, but in reality this rarely happened, and the effect of the gold thread is really very beautiful. It was one of the less expensive filament options and I'm very happy with it after taking these simple precautions.
