Installation tip: Screen protection film

There are two small flaws in the instructions and the videos. I was able to install this very easily by slightly modifying two steps. Firstly, after placing the installation guide on the phone, DO NOT remove the back cover immediately after as shown in the video. Second, align the screen protector with the long edge of the phone, not the top edge. and use the guide stickers provided with the kit. I wasted my first one trying to do it from the top edge and it fell crooked (and then there was dust underneath when I tried to clean and reset it and then broke a third time). So use the two points above. Follow the video until you reach the spot where you put the guide on the phone. Then stop following the video (immediately after step 5). You will replace steps 6 and 7 with my method. Step 6: Align the backing of the protective film with the guide on the phone. Make sure the cutouts match the spots you need. Once you lined it up correctly, use the guide stickers in the packaging to stick it along the long edge (one edge only, I used the left side of the phone). three stickers along the left edge, wrap them around the back for good adhesion. Make sure the cutouts are still aligned. Step 7: When you feel comfortable, straighten it, lift the tread slightly and quickly check for dust. and use the dust sticker to grab any pieces that managed to get under it. Once you've completely cleaned the screen, remove the backing. Then put the protective film back on the glass and let it stick. The guide stickers should hold it in place so it stays properly aligned, and since you're only tugging it up slightly, this should help keep dust out of getting under the screen protector (as the display is mostly closed at this point).
