Received yesterday Mon 1st Nov 21. Built with a bang and yes judging from all the reviews I've read the pen is very thin and cheap. It breaks easily under pressure. However, I have an old mop handle and thought it would work with broomsticks and it worked fine. So I have to say the rubber broom sweeps great and I love how it cleans laminate floors and leaves them so clean and now I have a sturdy handle to push down on to use it. If someone wants to keep that broom but doesn't like the handle, just take the broom to a hardware store and buy either a mop handle or a broom handle, whichever fits the broom's threads. Then you will not be disappointed with the performance.
