The compressor is supplied in a beautifully packaged vacuum foam box. After watching a YouTube video I realized my 2012 LR4 needed a new compressor. The supercharger still worked for me, but it raised and lowered the car unevenly, giving a suspension error every other time. I thought I had a leak in the valve block, but by watching a few videos on how to do it I was able to resolve these issues and had a good guess that this was the problem. Look, I'm not a machine, but I can. and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty so I decided to install it myself. I installed it myself today. It was a tricky task, but after watching a video on how to do it, I was able to install it. It took about 2 hours (not bad for a first time). After installation I started the car and it works great. NO MORE ERRORS! The car raises and lowers much faster and smoother than before! Great aftermarket product much cheaper than the original! Tips for the self-employed-1. The third screw on the pump mount is very difficult to access so you will need a 10mm ratchet wrench. Unscrew the screw. I used the telescoping magnetic handle to bring the slide back into the hole (can't do without it). I like it) too tight for the fingers. I followed the wrench and reached out and held a finger on the back of the wrench to hold it in place. 2. The smallest hose does not work like the original pump. You need to loosen the nut (12mm wrench). Take it out and the washer that is inside. (Make sure the conical side of the washer is facing the nut or hose!) Push the hose and washer in as far as it will go and screw back without letting the hose rotate until it is nice and snug. Not too tight.3. When you first start your car you have a suspension problem, but once the pump has pushed air through the system it goes away. Turn off the car and start it a few times and it's good!
