Optix 55 progressive reading glasses, (mine are a pair of tortoiseshell +100, +50, Plano, price $10.55) The glasses are perfect for me. I hate carrying traditional readers. I work in a hospital with a computer on a trolley. I need the zoom to focus on documents and the computer screen. The top part of the lens is not magnified. This feature allows me to maintain eye contact with my patients and push the cart through the hospital's long corridors without having to remove my glasses. Frames are light but strong. I've dropped them several times and they haven't broken yet. The tortoiseshell color resembles most "tortoiseshell" colors found in lenses, matte, not shiny. I have recommended the Optix 55 progressive lenses to my friends, family and colleagues.
