I would be afraid to clean hamster cages because this one is difficult to assemble. It's made completely different than the other cage I have and it's complete crap. The sides don't even come together properly, we've put it together twice from a clean lunch and now after almost an hour of trying and extreme frustration it just doesn't come together. We held up the sides and then put on the top and then the sides flew away again. We just gave up and will buy a new cage, but definitely not this one. Don't waste money on it.
