Wax appears to be of good quality; it melts and flows smoothly, adheres firmly to paper, accepts moldings well, and becomes firm and flexible after curing. I chose this set in part because I loved the color choices and personally all the colors are as pretty as they appear in the product photo, if not more so. Both stamp designs are quite pretty, although the fine details of the tree of life definitely benefit from being highlighted with metal pins. The markers look really cheap but I was pleasantly surprised with their performance and they add a nice extra touch to any brand's design. The envelopes are thicker card stock with a smooth, slightly lustrous finish that I expect will hold up very well to hot wax. Another reason I chose this particular set was that it's warmer, which I really like; Its design is simple but elegant and it works great. The spoons in this set are a little less secure than we'd like, but that's not a problem if installed carefully. It's nice to just lay the spoon down and let the wax melt instead of holding it to the candle the whole time - not that it takes very long to melt three balls, I'm just fussy and impatient haha. I think the only downside to this set is that the solid metal spoons get pretty hot; It would be nice if they had a wooden or even plastic grip on the handles to cushion any possible burns, which I think is a potential problem if you're heating it repeatedly to make a lot of stamps in one sitting, or if you're just going to do it don't do extra careful. But I would still say that when everything else in the set is so good, that's more of an awareness to have than big damage.
