Recently, my Netgear Orbi RBK50 LAN was behaving strangely: all the ethernet connections in my house stopped working intermittently while the wireless connections stayed connected. I almost went insane looking for a solution to the problem. I searched everything I could think of with Google. I have replaced the ethernet cables. I have replaced the ethernet switches. I even did a factory reset of the router and reconfigured everything from scratch. Out of desperation, I started deleting devices one by one (I have 49 devices plugged into my router at home) until I found the culprit. I found that every time I unplugged this USB-C hub from my 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina Mid 2018, all wired network connections dropped. There's something going on with this hub's network connection that just can't be trusted.
