This handy pump helped me through the last few weeks of my maternity leave. He is small but mighty. So easy to use and maintain and clean - clean! - It's a no-brainer. I've been using it for the last month of my vacation to collect discharge from my other breast while LO is breastfeeding on one side. The suction power holds up well and I was so surprised at how much it picks up. After LO breastfed, I massaged to pump more with my hand. I loved this pump so much that in my attempts to assemble the Hideout I stopped using an electric pump because it was easy and quick to use and clean. It's small and portable, ideal for quick collection or low-maintenance pumping on the go. However, it may not be ideal for an exclusive pump. Maybe as an additional pump, but not the main one, since it will take more time if you only use it for the pump. I used this to set up my stash in preparation for my return to work and I ended up filling over half my freezer stash with just my Haakaa! Brilliant in its simplicity! A great gift for a new mom who wants to breastfeed and get back to work.
