I've been using it for about a year, I like it very much. It's not an instant read, so you'll have to wait a few seconds for it to register the temperature of what you're testing. Depending on which hand you hold it in, it reads correctly in one hand and upside down in the other - no big deal, just a note. If I needed something else, I'd like it a little longer; When measuring in a pot on the stove, the hand is closer to the heat of the pot/what is being cooked and waits a few seconds to register the temperature. In this case, a longer thermometer would be a little more convenient. The rest are very satisfied.
