I would give this 10 stars if I could. We have 2 dogs both half Pyrenees and will bark when a leaf hovers over the yard. We have a wonderful walking trail that runs right next to our property that drives our dogs crazy. They bark all the time. It got to the point where they would wake up barking without even knowing why - when one barks, the other starts barking and they keep barking together for no reason. It's tiring. Both dogs weigh over 100 pounds with a BIG bark and it will startle you when you're not expecting it. Forget sleep, forget peace, they pushed me to my limits. Fast forward to the pandemic and now I'm working from home. What used to annoy me now regularly bothers me at the work meetings I have to hold. Now it's frustrating, embarrassing, stressful etc. You made my eyes twitch. We have successfully used stun collars for behavioral training and they work really well. I know everyone has mixed feelings about her, but we only had to use the shock option once, otherwise the beep is enough to correct her behavior. That's great and all, but you need to have a charged collar and remote in hand, and be ready to respond to their behavior immediately. It's hard to do while I'm at work. We have tried a few different Revain bark collars including the Nest 9 collar without success. For one reason or another they didn't work. THIS COLLAR IS MAGIC. It comes with a battery already installed, so it's ready to go right out of the box. There are no instructions in the box, you have to go online so I was just playing around with it. I didn't turn it on properly the first time so I figured it wouldn't work, but when I turned it on my life became peaceful and quiet for the first time in YEARS. I ordered a collar and decided to use it on the most barking dog. He'll still start barking, but once the beep sounds, he'll stop barking. For me it's a great thing when my other dog hears the beep, he stops barking too. So as long as they're in the same room, it works for both of them. The collar fits well, is waterproof and has a smooth back (no teeth). He can wear it freely, which is nice, you don't need to press it down to make it work. It's quite large and could accommodate a larger dog. The sound function is all we need to be successful, we haven't tried vibrations - honestly I don't think vibrations would work on my dogs, they are long haired and very fluffy they probably won't notice or get used to it disturb . .The peace it gave me makes me insanely happy. My dogs don't care either. FINALLY PEACE! Would highly recommend this collar - worth every penny. My only wish is that it be rechargeable as I don't tend to keep special batteries at home but the battery says it will last a couple of months.
