I choose printers based on their ability to use traditional cartridges because printer manufacturers seem to enjoy cheating customers about consumables. I bought this toner cartridge to replace another generic cartridge that I was already using. However, it seems to me that generics are very popular, so it takes a lot of trial and error to find a decent generic cartridge that will print exactly like the OEM. I used an EPS brand toner cartridge before and unfortunately it wasn't one of the good ones. It printed unevenly (the sides are light, the middle is dark), so the reason went to the next game "General Roulette with Toner" and came across this toner cartridge. (This was the cheapest option at the time of my search) My printer now prints consistently with this toner and performs just as well as the original. It's also significantly larger than the previous toner (and original toner) so it really is a high performance toner. As long as they can keep their quality consistent I would say EZ Ink branded toners seem like a good choice for an OEM equivalent. Toner.
