Review on Sprenger Black Stainless 2 25Mm Collar by Allison Taylor

The collar I received was an official Herm Sprenger. Also, the collar I ordered has 2 O-rings, no swivel (which I prefer, my leash has a swivel). Sprenger makes a collar without a swivel (one of the previous reviewers seemed to think it was fake as there is no swivel, which is not true). This spiked collar made a difference in my day and night pittie mix rescue. It weighs about 40 pounds and I had to remove a link from the small size 2.25 collar. I prefer black stainless steel (anodized rather than painted black) so it's less noticeable on my dog. If your dog has a light colored coat, stainless steel (not chrome) is less likely to discolor his coat. Choose Kurogan if your dog is sensitive to nickel but is also prone to discoloring light-colored fur. These collars look intimidating, but when sized correctly, inserted and used only during training, they are the most humane and effective way to communicate with your dog.
