Comfortable shoes. It has a high heel to toe drop. The heel is very high. I had left heel pain with my previous shoes and have not experienced this with these shoes. I use the New Balance everyday memory foam insole, which has a hard plastic in the heel area. My size is rather odd 11.5 2e, this is the wide version. The laces came undone once during a run - you may need to double knot them. The heel is a little loose. You can compensate for this with a loop knot, but not with standard laces as they are too short. They felt more stable than my last shoes. I felt a little less pain in my knees and didn't hurt my ankle.
