Review on πŸ”§ Timken HA590156K Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly: Durability and Performance Combined by Steven Notsinneh

They fit well but the bearings didn't fit

I bought two of these bearings in Timken packaging. Installed well, but the bearings didn't fit. One had a black plastic seal, the other a red one. None of them were stamped with the Timken name, and one definitely said "China." I've searched for pictures and found many with Timken and USA stamps on the exposed surface of the inner ring, but can't say for sure. I suspect they sent me cheaper alternative bearings but I didn't realize that until I was in the middle of a huge job and had to finish it. The new bearings seem to work well, but durability can be an issue. This car is 21 years old so I hope to be able to replace it before the next breakdown. I recommend that you take note of this and check the details carefully upon arrival. If you paid more for quality parts and received something of dubious origin, you have plenty of time to return it.
