I didn't know if this would make kneading easier and while I like to knead dough by hand rather than a fork, I don't like lumpy dough on my fingers after kneading. I used my new whisk today - it's very strong (and very long, maybe too long) and did its job very well. The surprise was that not much batter sticks to the whisk and it pulls off very easily. Hot water and soap - and it dries very quickly. The handle is durable and strong, it copes with its task very quickly. I bought two, I'll probably give one to my son, who also bakes bread a lot. It's also strong enough to be used for large batches of cookie dough.
