You have to be like, "Holy Hannah! Go to the dealer and get the genuine part to properly complete this repair. I bought this for my BMW, installed it with no problems, no light came on. The BimmerLink application started, the light did not go out. Finally, after a few months of gently riding the beast, the lights went out. Like a miracle. Then they returned. Then they cleaned it up again. The warning lights on the dashboard have not come on for several weeks, but the transmission still does not shift properly. TRUST ME, the speed sensor may be small, but it is an essential part of a car (at least in a BMW). It's connected to all sorts of systems you didn't even know about. Airbags, anti-lock braking systems, transmissions and more. When you consider that a rebuilt transmission is going to cost you in the high four figures, do you really want to save yourself a hundred bucks or so? I recommend you skip this and do the repair properly with the correct OEM parts. I'm not saying NTK made poor quality products, but in *my* case, BMWs are too spirited to save money and I don't want to risk it.
