Review on 14 oz. Nu Finish Paste Car Polish: Superior to Wax for Unmatched Shine by Mike Bigglesworth

I used Nu Finish in the 70's. I don't know how I got rid of it, but I'm glad I tried again. I put it on my daily driver in October and after 4 months the water is still running. I live in a cold and snowy part of the country, so winter de-icer and general road grime expose cars to harsh conditions. So far I am very happy with the endurance of Nu Finish. It's really easy to apply, the consistency is somewhere between yogurt and peanut butter (not crunchy!). After drying for a short time, it can be easily erased; lighter than the wax paste I used. The reviews of people who have a hard time opening a can are written by people who shouldn't wax or maybe even drive their own car. And for those who don't like its smell, well, it has a slight chemical odor. THIS IS A CAR POLISH, NOT A HAND LOTION! As with most polishes/waxes you need to be careful not to get it on the plastic surface or it will take a bit more effort to remove. I'm glad I returned to Nu Finish and look forward to my next polishing experience.
