Have been using it for 10 years. I've always had black cars, I put them in direct sunlight and let them bake. It will literally skyrocket when applied on a hot summer day. Will take a whole year. The only thing that will remove it sooner is some good hailstorms (I don't have a garage).

Have used this for many years and have tried many other car waxes over the decades. i have two cars I wash them regularly and wax them when needed. Consumer reports rank it number one - I agree 100%. It cleans best and the wax protection lasts much longer than any other wax. The only downside is that it takes a bit more fat to remove, but the durability factor is worth it. Again, it's a great cleanser too. When waxing, try to keep it away from flat black plastic parts.

A little play on words. The manufacturers of the product say it can be applied and removed in direct sunlight, but that's not my experience. I figured since this product doesn't contain wax, these statements would probably be true. I judge the quality of a product like this by how well it repels water and for how long. This nu-finish paste wore off at an alarming rate. After just a week, the water was almost gone. After three weeks you'd think my car hadn't been rubbed in years judging by the way the water clung to the paint and spread like a sheet over the surface.
