Attention buyers - NSFK!

It was a "MUST" in high school, so I read it as a mom. I left appalled that high school students were being forced to read and discuss this without parental involvement. The situations are shocking, and that's fine as long as there's redemption and a shared moral theme. But it was neither one nor the other. I have tried to find legitimate reasons to have my son read this and my husband and I could not justify it. Papers” and the other apparent gratuitousness of some events opposed starting their own business (as far as their talents would allow), gaining genuine support in church or society, restoring justice rather than fleeing the police, lying and too steal. her way out of the situation might have been better. At every turn I hoped for a good choice, but was horrified at best.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
