This is a decent laptop fan (the quietest we've tried so far) that helps keep a kid's laptop cool during extended use school or games to protect against overheating. All of the front controls worked, but for $45 I was a bit disappointed with a few missing features. It will not turn off automatically when you turn off your laptop, even if it is connected to your laptop via USB for power supply. . All previous fans we've had didn't need to be manually shut down, so it's odd that this one does. Kiddo doesn't remember anything, so this thing works all the time. Luckily, the fans are pretty quiet. The extra USB port is completely useless. You can't use it for the newer keyboard, and when trying to use the mouse, the cursor jumped all over the screen. If all you want is fans and pretty lights this will work fine, but there are plenty of those with no problems. I listed above.
