The black paint was peeling and had to be thrown away
At first we liked it. Attractive and fairly durable, if a bit flimsy. After a while the paint started chipping and we had to throw it away. Particles of color got into our coffee when I stirred it with one of those spoons! Not much more than 6 months later. Note: However, we are a family of 4 including two teenagers. If you only use them for casual purposes, that might be ok. I guess it's not for every day use unless you buy it unpainted.
