I bought this one month ago and finally installed it. Easy right? Measure 1/2" tubing, cut to length, plug in, screw pump to desired pitch, done, right? Two days later, half a six gallon tank sits on my happily unfinished aluminum floor. I took this new pump apart and checked for any leaks The diaphragm was leaking. I taped it again, tightened all the screws, there is no plastic defect anywhere! MORE LEAK. No, I don't want to buy a repair kit for a brand new item. I'll live with it until I find a better pump!
