I have a little 17 month old girl who weighs about 20 pounds and I ordered a pair of these for her in a size 18-24 months. They are a little loose around her waist but when I tuck in the waist they stay in place with no issues and are easy to pin down to the right length. The material is very thin so a great little pant for warm weather but not the best for cold days. The pink bow detail at the waist is my favorite, we've worn it with pink shirts and jumpsuits and it looks amazing! My biggest complaint is that the elastic is poorly sewn into the waistband. I think it's just the style of the pants, but as soon as I rolled up the waistband, I could tell that the elastic at the hem didn't stay straight. It appears to be sewn on where the bow is in the front, but I can see it unraveling around the rest of the waist over time. Just to clarify, these are loose baggy pants. Some reviewers have called them leggings and they definitely don't feel tight like leggings on purpose so I just wanted to clarify in case anyone is confused! These are loose, comfortable and light pants. I wish the fabric was a bit thicker and the belt held up more securely but I'm happy with them nonetheless!
