I bought these to protect my horses hooves from mud this time of year. The first time they put them on him, they put them on someone else, so I didn't know about the defect. I have to clean his feet and shoes every day so the next day after I washed and dried his feet and wanted to put them on him I couldn't do it because one was shorter than the other and wrapped around his leg to the velcro come. so they are definitely useless to me.
