I was looking for a carry-on that maxed out space - and this bag meets that need and more. On first trip with four US flights (Delta), easily fit in either wheels first or sideways - filled the overhead bin, sliding in and out with ease. On variety of smooth and uneven surfaces, the wheels are smooth, when going fast or slow. As far as the handle - yes, it seems wobbly, but performed just fine, even when the weight of heavy brief case slide on. Lastly, it did arrive with plastic smell (not horrible smell, but noticeable). After being left open in the garage for a few weeks, no residual smell. For only $40, this bag performs better than expectations. The only remaining question: durability over the long haul.Jan 2017 update: Many trips this year and still love this carry-on! No issues with overhead compartment. And while the handle has some wiggle, it has held up to heavy loads, including adding a heavy brief case with laptop - takes the weight well while on the roll and no sign of bend or break.3/6/2022 update: after multiple yearly trips, a wheel and entire corner blew out. For all the trips, I feel I got my moneys worth.
