Review on GSM Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 [AT&T] Smartphone - Midnight Black (Renewed) - Unbeatable Price! by Rimba ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

The gadget was purchased from a well-known online retailer. I didn't pay much attention to the description because there was only one adjustment available at the time the transaction was placed. The price is reasonable, and the model is the one I wanted. I placed that order. The following became evident during use: - the device could not automatically import settings from my previous Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone using the proprietary Smart Switch service; - when manually configuring the device, it became apparent that many applications that are typically pre-installed in top Samsung models are not in this device; - many applications that I had previously been able to download from the Galaxy Store were not available for this device; - it was imperative that I set up the device properly before using it; Although the installed Android version is 8.0.0 from April 2022, a version of Android 9 has been made available for this device since January 2022. The IMEI and SN of the device were reviewed by Samsung's online technical support service, which stated that the device will not enable any of the capabilities I requested because it failed the test on their servers. I was still able to install the 2022-adapted firmware and obtain all of the software ates for the device thanks to my research on flashing "gray" devices. I couldn't use the Byxbi and Samsung Pay branded services, though. You can purchase "gray" devices if you don't value current electronic services and have the time and desire to spend many hours completing the device. Alternatively, get gadgets from authorized retailers.

Pros
  • Superb performance, user-friendly design, the most recent OS release, high-quality original accessories.
Cons
  • low battery capacity or excessive power use. The charge only lasts one day, or more specifically, one day. The fact that Samsung Pay is not supported in my handset since it is "gray" is a major negative for me.
