Review on V MODA Crossfade Wireless Over Ear Headphone Headphones by Eric Hartman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Universal Headphones (All in One)

I was eyeing Sennheiser HD25 to replace my Marshall Major headphones that I used to monitor DJs and looking to upgrade I wanted my everyday and upgrade versatile JBL Tune 500 BT headphones. I decided to look for a generic option, stumbled across the V Moda brand and found that they are essentially Crossfade 2 Wireless and a good compromise for both purposes. I had high expectations from the reviews I saw and while my expectations were a bit higher than my experience with these headphones, it's still a pretty good pair of headphones with sound quality good enough for monitoring. The sound profile favors lows and highs, which rarely overwhelms the mids, but that's less than 1% of the time I've used it. Build quality is satisfactory and better than most in my previous price range, but I feel like it could use a 5% improvement on some joints that feel a little loose. absolute theft even with import duties to my country. Despite not being ANC headphones, they manage to block out some background noise. Finally, a highly durable steel and soft plush leather construction with premium sound quality. I'd give a full 5 stars if the connections were as excellent as the general build and audio quality rather than the jiggling that annoys me at times and if the cable that came with it was a coiled cord without the built in mic. Definitely recommend them for the bedroom and the most enthusiastic DJs on a budget looking to expand their currency.
